Master

Ip Pui-Hong Terry, from NanHai, was born in Hong Kong in 1980. He studied from Master Ha Tak-Kin the art of Rou Gong Martial Arts and Lion Dance from the age of fifteen, and through a decade of hard work has won the World Champion title for Hong Kong on numerous occasions, achieved International Coach and Adjudicator status, and was awarded numerous international prizes in Hong Kong. Under the guidance of Master Ha Kwok-Cheung, in the Autumn of 2003 he co-founded the Fiery Dragon Lion Sport Association (Hong Kong) with Master Mak Ka-Ming Yami and Master Chong Wing-To Tobias, with the aim to promotemoral and cultural values. Currently Master Yip focuses mainly on teaching Lion Dance and has students in over 20 schools and local community centres, in which these school Lion Dance troupes were often awarded prizes in competition. His students, Chan Dik-Hei and Ho Wun-Hong, having learnt the art for only 4 years, won the Association the title of Asia lion king and Champion in the 2006 Hong Kong Open Championships, representing Hong Kong to compete abroad and exchange knowledge with fellow competitors.
